What is Pulmonary hypertension (PH) ?

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is an increase in blood pressure in the blood vessels of the lung leading to shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, and other symptoms, which are made worse by exertion and interfere with daily functioning. Pulmonary hypertension can lead to serious illness and disability and, in some cases, heart failure.
