What: An opportunity for the NBIA community to work together to raise awareness and funds that will support the NBIA community.

When: Together for Tomorrow: An NBIA Community Campaign launches Right Now! and runs through Rare Disease Day, February 28, 2014.

Where: Online - how easy is that?

Why: Together for Tomorrow will provide every family, every supporter, and every friend of the NBIA Disorders Association a chance to make a personal impact in the fight for a cure. It will be easy, it will be fun, and it will make a difference.

How: Individuals participating in the Community Campaign can set up their own personal fundraising and awareness pages using FirstGiving's online peer-to peer fundraising tool, and share their stories, photos, videos, and even set their own personal fundraising goals.

What else do you need to know?

Throughout the six-months, participants can expect to receive emails that will provide helpful tips and ideas to maximize fundraising and awareness efforts, sample fundraising page and email text, opportunities to win prizes, recognition for participants, and general updates on the progress of our Community Campaign.

The campaign will support two key areas: the research grants program and support services. The Together for Tomorrow: An NBIA Community Campaign's fundraising goal is $135,000. It is an aggressive goal, but if we work together, it is achievable.
