What is Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP) ?

Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia is a group of rare, inherited neurological disorders. Their primary symptoms are progressive spasticity and weakness of the leg and hip muscles. The condition is characterized by insidiously progressive lower extremity weakness and spasticity.
