aHUS Canada Inaugural Meeting
Here's a selection of information from patients & professionals to better understand Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome.
Where: Novotel North York Hotel, North York, Ontario
When: on 6 April 2013
aHUS Canada is pleased to invite you to our Inaugural Meeting for patients and families dealing with aHUS (atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome).
We have planned the day with you, the patient, in mind! Our goal is to provide educational resources to help support patients, families and caregivers dealing with this disease.
In attendance will be professionals specializing in aHUS as well as a session on how to advocate for your own care. This will also be an opportunity to have some of your questions answered, share your stories, compare notes, learn how others are coping and see how they are responding to treatments.
Registration is mandatory but attendance is free for patients, families and caregivers. The cost of out-of-town travel and hotel accommodation on the night of April 5th will be covered for patients and one family member/caregiver. We will also be hosting a family dinner on April 5th for patients and families.
For those that are unable to attend but would like to participate, web conferencing will be made available and details sent out once your registration form has been received.
