My name is Clery. I come from Cyprus and I was diagnosed with Behcet's syndrom 7 years ago. I have never met or talked with any other patient with Behcet's syndrome. I will be "glad" to meet or talk to somebody with the same problems as me!
I was suffering without knowing what my problem was.
When I was diagnosed with Behcet's syndrome I was shocked as the doctor explained to me that there is no treatement for this.
It took me about two years to realise that I had to get used with the problems and continue my life.
I am glad that until now all the problems/pains I had I was able to manage and did not affect seriously my life or my family's life.-

adriennemarierosa published 4 months ago | Originally written in EnglishHi! I'm not from Cyprus, but I went to medical school in Southern Israel and it is not a terribly rare disease there..Also I have Behcet's..There is quite a lot that can be done in terms of the disease. If you would like, I can give you the name of some excellent rheumatologists with considerable Behcet's disease in Israel..I think it's only about an hour and a half flight, correct?

JOUX published 3 months ago | Originally written in FrenchHello, I am not from Cyprus, but from FRANCE, from a little town in province and I am with you with all my heart; this illness is actually rare, but research is being conducted, even here, in FRANCE, on genetics and I know it will not bring a cure but it might relieve some of the symptoms a little? For ISRAEL, I knew that they did not have many cases there. Nor do they have very specialized doctors. Maybe they would be interested in talking to us on this website, even in English, as are translations that can be made for all, which is extraordinary progress!! If you could ask them please, dear Adrienne Marie Rosa? Thank you very much, and all my love to you! Dominique (I am a woman, 54 years of age, I am afflicted with behcet [sic] since I was a child, I was born in MOROCCO, I have placed my testimony on this website, which you can have translated as well!)
